This past month has been eventful but exciting! I have spread the word about my trip to many people through letters and in person, and have already received so much support and prayer! I would like to shout out my grandparents for donating $1,000 and to my family friends for giving financially. Their donations have already brought me to raise 7% of my total goal! Praise the Lord! I would also like to thank everyone I have met with thus far to discuss the trip. You have all touched my heart in different ways through your testimonies and I love to see and hear about how Jesus is working in your lives. I can’t wait to meet up with more of you to talk about this ministry and your walk with Jesus! I would appreciate it if you guys continued to pray for me as I faithfully follow and obey Jesus on this journey.
Recently, I have felt Him teaching me how to be patient, which is something I sometimes struggle with. I am practicing being patient with other people and with myself. I am also working on having the strength and bravery to contact and share with people information about my trip. I am more of an introverted person, so going out and sharing with people about the ministry as well as asking people if they can meet up with me to talk about it is out of my comfort zone. A verse I have been meditating on recently to help me through this is Joshua 1:9 which says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Thank you again for all the support I have received, especially from my mom for taking things off my plate and being there for me during this busy time of my life, and thank you God for continuously surprising and teaching me new lessons every day!
